For some time users of the Ticketmaster Vista software suite (largely museum-types) have shared issues and solutions over a
Yahoogroup list called VistaUsers. This list had become an easy target for spammers, as it was wide open for posting, and also listed in the Yahoogroup directory. The list owner had disappeared, and subscribers were dropping out in frustration. Because of the difficulty (impossibility, really) of speaking with a human at Yahoo, it seemed the easiest fix for this situation was to just move the list, and control subscriptions to those with legitimate interests. Accordingly I have set up a list called TMVistaForum at Yahoogroups.com. There is a one-time subscriber verification and approval.
