On behalf of MCN's Board of Directors, I would like to announce that the MCN Strategic Plan, 2007-2010, is now available for your review and comments on the MCN website, http://www.mcn.edu <http://www.mcn.edu/> . Log onto the Members section and follow the link on the first page. That page includes a link where you may provide feedback. Members' feedback will be gathered through the survey form, as well as during our annual Business Meeting at the MCN conference in Pasadena, on Friday, November 10th. Of course, you may also submit your feedback directly to any Board member. All feedback must be submitted by December 1, 2006; to give us time to consider it for the plan to be finalized in January 2007. Once the plan has been finalized, it will be available on the public area of the website. So much for the business details. As I'm sure many of you know, the plan represents many hours of hard work on the part of each Board member. The collective vision and determination to move MCN forward is wonderful to participate in and to witness. Going from our former, looser organizational model to one of more defined structure is already making us a more efficient and more responsive organization. I hope you will join me in preparing for the inauguration of this plan by your careful review and much-valued, thoughtful comments; and then by participating in its accomplishment by becoming more involved in MCN. The opportunities are there, what we need now is you!
