FYI

Dear Bay-area contacts,

CRUMB, the resource for those who show new media art, are running
some workshops as part of the ISEA festival (http://01sj.org/). The
'Crisis to Bliss' workshops feature fabulous workshop leaders
including British net artists Thomson and Craighead, and Saul Albert.

Have you ever had a project go belly up mid way through? Have you had
your funding fall through and had to resort to your own credit card?
Been downsized from your institution because they don't understand
the benefits of having a curator looking at the field of networked
new media? Got repetitive strain injury? Tired of feeling like you
can't be critical if you want to find a way for new media to be a
part of art history?

Then we want to hear from you, and we want to offer you a chance to
sit down, have a nice cup of tea, and tell us about it. Teatime
workshops will be at 4pm each day. There will be home-baked cookies.

Register in advance on the ISEA site, $5 per teatime session, or $25
for the week (http://01sj.org/content/blogcategory/121/130/)
Or just drop Sarah an email telling us you are coming, so we can make
sure we can accommodate you comfortably.
