Supervisory IT Specialist
(Head of Digital Access and Outreach)
The Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery together form the 
Smithsonian's Museums of Asian Art. The Museums hold extraordinary collections 
of Asian art and of American art of the late nineteenth century aesthetic 
movement and share the mission of encouraging enjoyment and understanding of 
the arts of Asia through exhibitions, original research, and the preservation 
of the cultural heritage of Asia.
The Supervisory IT Specialist will be responsible for long-range planning, 
direction and implementation of the museum's digital strategy.  To qualify, the 
successful applicant must have experience providing direction, implementation, 
and management of a museum's digital strategy to include technological 
resources and infrastructure, web (including mobile sites), social media, apps, 
multimedia (video, augmented reality, etc.) and educational technology for use 
in the galleries and online.  For further information and evaluation factors,

to $136,711.
