The Position:

The Jewish Museum, a Fifth Avenue museum of art and Jewish culture, has 
embarked on an ambitious digital evolution and will soon begin the design, 
development and implementation of a multi-application integrated CRM system 
that for the first time brings together all constituent data from across the 
museum, including membership and development, in-store and online shopping, 
admission and event ticketing and business communications.

The Museum seeks a talented CRM Systems Manager who is passionate about data 
integrity and committed to process, training and customer service. The position 
involves collaborative efforts across the Museum and will anchor strategic 
efforts to know our constituents better and develop insights to help drive new 
constituent acquisition.  In the pre-implementation phase, the CRM-SM will help 
lead the process to finalize all requirements, select vendor(s) for 
consideration and select the final vendor(s) for the comprehensive CRM system.  
The CRM-SM will then co-lead the implementation process and manage the 
day-to-day operations flow of all CRM-related systems.

Responsibilities:
·           Work with departmental leaders to define needs and craft solutions 
in core CRM System applications.
·           Coordinate CRM Systems use across all relevant departments at the 
Museum.
·           Assist in developing and maintaining processes and procedures 
relating to the use of the CRM System, related applications and software, and 
data protocols.
·           Work alongside the finance, development, membership, marketing 
departments and the Shops to configure and set up campaigns, memberships, 
appeals, and sources at the start of the fiscal year and throughout the year as 
needed.
·           Lead training for departmental power users in all appropriate areas 
of CRM-System applications.
·           Build detailed lists and extractions to contribute to research, 
strategic solicitation, fundraising and marketing efforts as required by all 
departments within the Museum.
·           Develop and maintain reports including but not limited to, 
fundraising and other revenue sources, ticketing and attendance, campaign 
performance, constituent behaviors and activities.
·           Implement detailed and accurate reporting for the senior level 
management, specific to the department needs and requests.
·           Work to identify report requirements and ensure proper testing of 
data to ensure its accuracy before it is executed and/or presented.
·           Manage the relationship with the various application support teams 
on behalf of the MUSEUM by addressing issues that require immediate resolution 
and being an advocate for adjustments to the software’s applications and 
policies when necessary.
·           Work with APPLICATION users to maintain the integrity of the 
database by developing and implementing account clean up procedures.
·           Assume other duties and responsibilities as required.


Job Qualifications and Experience:

·           7 – 10 years’ experience in a cultural institution or similar 
non-profit organization, with minimum 5 years focused on data management and 
systems.

·           Experience with comprehensive CRM systems, with advanced skills in 
reporting and analysis, system integration and training.

·           Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office with advanced 
skills in Word and Excel, specifically in how it relates to CRM reporting and 
data imports and exports.

·           Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical 
users with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

·           Ability to develop adequate technical specifications based on 
information gathered from database application end users.

·           Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·           High level of organizational skills required to fulfill projects 
and meet deadlines.

·           Ability to troubleshoot database problems.

·           Must be able to pass pre-employment background-screening.

·           The job’s minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree, or 
foreign equivalent, in computer science, mathematics, statistics or relevant 
field of study.
