Hello, MCN 2003 attendees:

This year's MCN Silent Auction is coming up just two weeks from tonight!

To be held during in the conference's Exhibition Hall during the reception on Thursday 6 November, the auction promises to be a great time for all. Its proceeds benefit MCN crucial programs, which in turn benefit us all.

Please do bring along your donations when you head off to Vegas. As you're coming up with ideas for what to donate, keep in mind that there will be door prizes awarded for the Most Expensive Item (based on winning bids) and Most Unusual Item (based on our shamelessly arbitrary assessment!).

So far, promised items include Chagall and Jim Dine catalogs, an intriguing group of objects related to famous IP disputes, various "Things Elvis," a hard-to-find t-shirt or two, and a CD of Liberace reading "The Night Before Christmas"--so far, a possible front-runner for the "most unusual item" prize. Can you top it?

Donations may be dropped off in the conference registration area on Thursday, the day of the auction, during these times:

8:00 - 8:30 / 10:00 - 10:30 / 3:00 - 3:30

If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected].

See you in Vegas!
