Hi all, Thanks to those of you who were able to make it to the CAL SIG meeting at MCN in Minneapolis last week, it was good to see everyone. The big news around CAL SIG is that we have a new chair! Amy Noel, from the Getty, has assumed the tiara; and I know she’ll be wonderful. In addition, Dana Mitroff, up here in Northern California, is planning an event in Mountain View in February 2005; which promises to be a must-do for CAL SIG members.
Congratulations to Amy on her new post, and congratulations to Dana on becoming a new Board member. Dana has also agreed to assume the web master duties for the woefully out-of-date CAL SIG cobweb page. Watch your mcn-l for future news and details of coming activities; maybe even pictures from the meeting.
