Title: SM SIG: Suggestions for Small Museum SIG page
David,
We include a list of Digitization Resources on the Ohio Memory Project site: http://www.ohiomemory.org/om/links2.html  The links, which include topics such as copyright, selection criteria for digitization, and web design, are helpful for anyone considering a digitization project.

Subject: SM SIG: Suggestions for Small Museum SIG page

The Small Museum SIG web page is about to go up on the MCN website and need to some suggestion of appropriate links. At the inaugural meeting of the Small Museum SIG in Minneapolis several participants commented that there were web sites which would be of use for staff in smaller museums and archives concerning digitization, databases, web sites, etc. If anyone knows of useful links or of particularly good examples of web sites produced by small museums, please post them to the list and I will consider adding them to the new web page.

As well, I would like encourage staff from small institutions to post their technical questions to this listserv and for anyone to post any links or news which may concern small museums and the adoption of computer technologies.

Thanks,

David Farrell, Co-ordinator, Heritage Collections (Small Museum SIG Chair)
