Oakland Museum of California Foundation Job Announcement: Webmaster
30 hours per week Competitive pay and benefits package The Oakland Museum of California, as "the museum of California," provides exemplary collections, exhibitions, and educational services in ways that generate wider public understanding of California's environment, history, and art. Museum activities are responsive, accessible, and relevant to the public, including school children, teachers, scholars, the immediate Oakland and Bay Area communities, and an increasingly diverse California population. We are currently seeking a webmaster who is strong on both design and development. The webmaster will maintain the current OMCA website with the highest possible quality, navigational ease and consistency in look and feel for the museum's website. The webmaster must be able to create, promote and encourage clean, professional, appealing designs for online web projects. Must be knowledgeable in and able to keep abreast of current and developing trends in web and museum technologies, with an eye on long-term planning.
