Hello all, Apologies for cross postings between MCN (LinkedIn Group), MW (LinkedIn) and the MCN - Listserv.
I've recently started a new position at the Cantor Art Center at Stanford University and my first big task is managing a redesign of the website. I've already done some online research and talked to some incredibly knowledgable people, but I'm still curious about how museums approach the cost estimation for a website redesign? The new site will: - Be responsive for desktop and mobile devices - Be Drupal based - Probably need about 5-8 templates designed - Better integrate Gallery Systems Web Kiosk - Integrate with Stanford's gift/donation system - Integrate an events management system such as EventBrite or 25 Live Any real world figures would be very helpful if you are at liberty to share privately. Also, how long the redesign process took from start to finish. I'd love to hear your stories. Thanks in advance!
