Glen, I haven't used these in a professional capacity, but I use the Trident Aegis case on my personal cell phone, and I think it would be really good in a lending program. They do offer tablet covers, especially in their Aegis (everyday protection) and Cyclops (tough protection) series, and a few in their Kraken series (maximum protection): http://www.tridentcase.com/. Most of their tablet covers are for Apple devices, but they do offer cases for Samsung tablets, Google Nexus 7, Motorola Xoom, and Microsoft Surface (which I'll mention in case anyone else is interested in that). At the bottom of the page, they have 'Education solutions' and 'Solutions for every industry', so they are familiar with bulk sales and the idea of tablets being used by kids. :) They also have accessories like wrist straps, shoulder straps, mounts, etc.
They have a thinner "Perseus" case series, but I don't think that is strong enough - it's just a thin silicone case. The Aegis case is a bit bulky on my phone, but I think the added bulk is well worth the protection it provides. Julie ------ Julie C.
