I wanted to share this with you as well. There is a service called Readymag (http://readymag.com) which is GREAT for designers. Everything is created using layout tools vs coding. I've started using it and it is very useful for digital brochures, digital guides, publications, presentations, etc. (They will be adding animation soon.) And it connects to Google Analytics and other web services.
Here is a recent example. Scroll to the bottom of this page. Still tweaking it. http://sniteartmuseum.nd.edu/collections/prints-drawings/ If anyone else is using it let me know. Let your designers know as well. I'd really like to start a Readymag user group to share ideas. I'm hoping to create a mockup of an entire museum website to see where the limitations are. The company is fairly new and constantly developing the product. They offer educational and student/teacher discounts as well ($72/year or more). There is another company very similar called Weld (https://www.weld.io). I haven't used it but it seems to function in a similar way. If there are similar services out there let me know. Mike
