Developers Wanted to Build Innovative Museum Digital Resource

The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of
a "Museums for America" grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services
(IMLS), which will allow the Museum to build a state of the art digital
infrastructure to provide access to its diverse collection of fine art,
personal effects, and archival documents.

The Museum solicits proposals to design and build a digital infrastructure
providing access to and allowing meaningful connections between its diverse
collections of fine art, personal effects, and archival documents. We seek a
partner to lead the design and implementation of systems to integrate data from
multiple sources, working collaboratively with our team to evaluate appropriate
metadata standards and linkages, design and build a user-friendly and relevant
search interface, create an API to this data for multiple publishing uses, and
develop a superior user experience for researchers using O'Keeffe Museum
collections.

Letters of interest are due December 1, 2016. For further details, please see
