The Walters Art Museum plans an online publication of The Journal of the Walters Art Museum. Recognizing the Journal’s importance to the museum’s mission, we aspire to offer its investigations to a broad online audience. In that spirit, a digital edition is planned as a free and open-access publication. With the new platform, the museum could enhance its content with animation, sound, links, and more.
We request proposals to complete this project. When completed, the project would publish two issues of the new Journal. We seek a creative partnership to complete this project. Our goal is to create a user-friendly, open-access platform for the museum’s scholarship.
