Hi all and Robin - Sorry for the late reply - I have been researching CMSs for our website this year. I agree with Sina and others about Wordpress, that it's a great solution for *most* museums. You'll want to look closely at the scope and functionality of the site to help assess. WP is great for typical/common functionality, where others have solved the problem for you and you can benefit from the community's knowledge. Because our website is quite complex, with academic digital publishing features, and complex events management, we are still evaluating whether WP is viable and it seems like it is probably too limiting for what we need. So we are looking closely at both WP and October. October is built on the same framework as Craft, called Laravel.
