Hi everyone, The Center for Creative Photography (CCP) at the University of Arizona is hoping to hire a consultant in the near future to help us select a DAMS and to help us consider broadly how this technology would become an institutionally embedded part of our growing digital footprint. CCP functions as both a museum and research center: holistically collecting, exhibiting, and facilitating research relating to photography. We have already digitized the vast majority our fine print collection, and are ramping up to begin systematic digitization of our archival holdings, which include documents, objects, photographic materials of all sorts, as well as A/V items.
We are currently trying to compile a list of people who might be interested in this type of project, so if this is the sort of consulting work you do, or if you have gone through a similar process and have recommendations, I would be interested in hearing from you! I'll be at MCN in Denver this week if you would like to speak in person, but feel free to reach out off-list as well.
