Curious if anyone has recommendations for off-the-shelf, in-gallery mounts for iPads. Requirements (aside from security & withstanding visitor abuse) is that it must be able to accommodate power, and ideally have "gooseneck" experience where the visitor could grip the device and turn it 90 degrees (or so) in any direction.
We've been looking at something like this, but are interested in the mount having a little more flexibility (and some of the gooseneck ones I've seen don't look like they'd stand up in a public gallery) https://www.maclocks.com/shop-by-device/apple/ipad/ipad-pro-12-9/space-rise-ipad-enclosure-kiosk.html Thanks, Shyam Shyam Oberoi Chief Digital Officer Royal Ontario Museum O: 416-586-7935 E: sobe...@rom.on.ca ON NOW Spiders: Fear & Fascination<https://www.rom.on.ca/spiders> Wildlife Photographer of the Year<http://www.rom.on.ca/wpy> COMING SOON 15 December | Zuul: Life of an Armoured Dinosaur<http://www.rom.on.ca/zuul> ________________________________ À L’AFFICHE Les araignées : Peur et fascination<https://www.rom.on.ca/fr/araignees> Wildlife Photographer of the Year<http://www.rom.on.ca/fr/photographe-naturaliste> À VENIR 15 décembre | Zuul: Life of an Armoured Dinosaur<http://www.rom.on.ca/fr/zuul> _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to mcn-l, the listserv of the Museum Computer Network (http://www.mcn.edu) To post to this list, send messages to: mcn-l@mcn.edu To unsubscribe or change mcn-l delivery options visit: http://mcn.edu/mailman/listinfo/mcn-l The MCN-L archives can be found at: http://www.mail-archive.com/mcn-l@mcn.edu/
