ABOUT
Archiving provides a unique opportunity for imaging scientists and those 
working in the cultural heritage community (curators, archivists, librarians, 
etc.), as well as in government, industry, and academia, to engage and discuss 
the most pressing issues related to the digital preservation and stewardship of 
hardcopy, audio, and video.

Portuguese Projects on Photography Collections Digitization Panel with 
Silvestre Lacerda, director of the Torre do Tombo National Archive, Luis Pavão, 
director of LUPA, and panelists from important photographic collections 
throughout Portugal for an interesting discussion on current efforts in 
Portugal to digitize their rich photographic history.

SHORT COURSE PROGRAM
Features 13 introductory to advanced courses with six NEW courses for 2019. 
Courses are organized into 4 tracks (#Capture #Processing #Workflow #Access)and 
taught by industry experts from the Library of Congress, Open Preservation 
Foundation (OPF), National Library of the Netherlands, Goobi, and more.
