At the 2019 ARCS Conference in Philadelphia, our name badges will reflect the multi-faceted nature of our profession. During the registration process, you’ll be asked to choose three areas of expertise or interest. Corresponding icons will be printed on your badge, and our hope is that this will help spark conversations (and joy!) between colleagues who may not have connected otherwise. The session will include three registrars and a curator from art museums, to discuss the difficulties that we often encounter with contemporary art installations, and new policies or procedures that we have been compelled to adopt in order to develop best practices.
