Hi Alex, If you are not aware of it already, the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) developed RFP guidelines in 2018 on which they asked a wide variety of folks in the sector to comment. (I was one.) You might find something on their site that is useful to you at Balboa Park. You can find them here: https://www.canada.ca/en/heritage-information-network/services/collections-management-systems/request-proposals-collections-management.html
They also have a very useful Collections Management Software Criteria Checklist <https://www.canada.ca/en/heritage-information-network/services/collections-management-systems/software-criteria-checklist.html> .
