***Registrar of the Year Award***
A new annual competition for “Registrar of the Year” has just been
announced.  This December 2019 one deserving winner will receive a $5000
cash prize and be crowned 2019’s Registrar of the Year during an event in
New York City. Nominations close October 16th, so if you know a registrar
who truly stands out, please visit the Registrar of the Year website for
nomination guidelines.  And make sure to vote for one of the deserving
finalists starting October 16th.

***Open House at the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts***
Every fall, CCAHA welcomes friends, colleagues, and neighbors into the lab
for their annual Open House. Visitors enjoy refreshments and get an
up-close look at some of the remarkable projects they have worked on the
previous year. The 2019 Open House on November 6th is scheduled in
conjunction with this year’s ARCS biennial conference in Philadelphia, PA.
This event is free, but registration is required. RSVP by Wednesday,
October 30th on CCAHA’s website.
