***#ARCSchat Dec 1 @ 12:00 p.m. ET***
For the field of collections care, 2020 has been a year of challenges and
change. Filled with worldwide lockdowns and government-mandated travel
bans, institutions have been forced to dramatically revise how they manage
the care of their traveling collections. With an uncertain timeline ahead
of us, are these changes temporary, or have we started to embark on a “new
normal”?

As this year winds down to a close, join #ARCSchat as we discuss with
panelists Errin Copple of LACMA, Marie Knidler of Louvre Abu Dhabi/Agence
France Museums, Stefanii Ruta Atkins of MoMA, and Sara Buehler of the
Brandywine River Museum of Art how the uncertain future of the courier
might start to take shape, and what permanent changes might actually remain
as we move forward.

***Committee Spotlight: Conference Content Committee***
The ARCS Conference Content Task Force is part of the Conference Committee
and is composed of members from across the United States and Canada.
Working closely with the Conference Logistics Task Force, the Content team
is responsible for developing the 2021 Biennial Conference program. This is
the first conference that will be officially developed by a committee of
nominated ARCS members from a variety of institutions. The 2021 Conference
may be one of the most challenging conferences to develop and plan due to
COVID-19 and uncertainty of the future. However, in this time of flux, the
Content Team is focusing on possibilities rather than limitations. The team
is introducing some exciting new ways to participate in the conference.
Keep a look out for the Call for Proposals as well updated information on
the conference website:
