Dear MCSA Sailor,

Here are a few notes as we push into the middle of our 2012 Fall college
sailing season! Please take the time to read all of this message.

*Tech Score:*
There are some new features on Tech Score that allow us to know each
sailors current eligibility status. Each team leader needs to visit the
CollegeSailing.org
<http://classic.collegesailing.org/directory/individual/>website and
view their team roster. Please make sure that any and all
sailors that plan on participating in events this semester have indicated
eligibility and have been approved by your team administrator. If there are
any duplicate sailors on your roster please contact Danielle Richards at
[email protected] so we can remove them and merge their
records.

If your team is hosting an event and has not yet signed up for a Tech Score
Account please do this NOW at https://ts2.collegesailing.org/score/609/rp

*Sailing with ineligible sailor:*
If your team has a participant at any event that has not indicated
their eligibility at the time of the event they are subject to PR 15c;

Use of Ineligible Student-Athlete - A college using an ineligible
studentathlete,
as defined by PR 12, in competition, or a college which allows a
2009-2012 ICSA Procedural Rules 7
student-athlete to compete who has not met the requirements of PR 13 and PR
14, shall, unless another penalty applies, be disqualified from the affected
races, without a hearing, and those races shall be re-scored according to
RRS
A6. Requests for reinstatement shall be fully documented and sent to the
college’s Conference Commissioner, who shall send the documentation, with a
recommendation for action, to the ICSA Appeals Committee, which shall make
the final ruling (Changes RRS 63.1 & A4.1 or D3.1) (See also PR 23 & PR 24
or PR 25).

*Regatta Hosting Materials:*
After each regatta, the hosts need to mail me the RP, Protest, regatta
evaluation and regatta reports to me by Wednesday the following week.
Please send this information in a timely manner to
