Hi there,
I've always suspected that reading Newsgroups were slower than loading
e-mail.
Tonight, I watched the meter on MDII 1.3.
With a 48,000 connection using Miami, I got my mail at an average 4,800
cps.
However, the News loaded at only 2,600! There was a lot of flickering on
the requester window during news downloads, which did not occur when
getting mail.
Is there a connection? (No pun intended! ;))
