[md-2] Mail download Manager?

Hi all,

I was just looking around the menus from MD II (v1.3) and I happened
to stumble across a menu for the 'Mail Download Manager'. This may
sound stupid but what does it do when it works? as it doesn't on my
system. I haven't really noticed its absence and would be interested
in any info.
