It would be nice to apply to existing messages, but I've already got that
covered until I get new headers. I do not see any option to apply filters to
existing mail or news.

So it is supposed to filter on new email or news headers as it downloads or
something? I didn't see any filtering happen on new headers I downloaded
yesterday. But my filters may not be good. That is why I'd like to see some
examples of valid filters. I filter on words in the subject line, and have
the action as Delete.

Thanks for any help :)
