Try a right click within contact manager. Also if you select "to"
or "CC" after starting a new message in MD then CM should startup
and you can select with the left button an address to be inserted in
the appropriate field. There is a setting in CM where you can define
what a double click does but that is mostly for sending a URL to a
browser.
