Sounds like some good news for the Amiga name, it will live on!
Thanks to Bill & Fleecy for all their hard work.
I am wondering if it would be possible to build into MD-2 a safety net
when working in the news part? I was recently going thru the messages
when my server dropped my connection. I reconnected, of course, and
went back to the news messages. When I clicked on a particular
message header to retrieve the whole thing, I got a nice little system
lockup/crash! What I didn't know was that MD-2 did not log me back
into my news server, nor did it warn me that I had no connection, it
just crashed!!! Wouldn't a nice little message like, "Would you like
to reconnect to news" or "You are no longer connected to news" or
something like that be much nicer than a lockup?
I hope others agree, especially Oliver! :-)
