Oh man, it took a few seconds from reading your message to having  MD2
appear on screen, after a week of messing around! I've tried 299 other
things first, and always suspected that the very last  thing  I  tried
would  be  the  one  to fix it! I've updated my MUI mccs so many times
that I have some of next year's ones.

I knew I had a problem with CManager, but never connected it with
this.

While MD2 was absent  I  went  loking  for  other  newsgroup  readers.
NewsRog  is  an incredibly powerful monster that would take a while to
learn, and Stargate is neat, elegant and simple. Thor? <shudder> No,  I
have hardly recovered from last time I tried it two years ago

I won't bother pursuing those now, since MD does news well, and has an
excellent  groups manager built in, with list downloaded from ISP. And
maybe, one day, I might even try MD2 for email as well . . .
