Anyone else noticed that sometimes the message displayed is not the
one hilighted into the group list?
The title of the window is correct, but both the headers section and
the message itself are wrong.
Viewing (or saving) an attachment, if present, is a failure, resulting
in an empty file read (or written).
This happens mainly after an AbortGet while dloading news.
IMHO -but I'm definitely _not_ a power user- the AbortGet button
works only locally, maybe not sending a sort of break to the
news-server: in fact after a (short) period of suspension, the modem
begins to receive again even if I've made no further requests.
Moreover, news that shold've 'truncated' by the AbortGet are, after a
while, complete in all their glory :\
Selecting other news in that lapse of time makes MD 'link' the
currently selected article with the one being dloaded 'in background',
resulting in an endless chain of wrong links!! And don't forget that
CleanupDatabase doesn't cure the mess! <grin>
I really don't know if I'm the only one experiencing the problem nor
if the reason lies into Genesis or maybe my ISP. Please give me some
feedback: can someone duplicate that?
To Olli: please, I'd like to pay for a full working MD, even right
now, even anticipated, but please take some time to fix MD. It's a
very nice program to use but has very annoying 'features', too.
