With MD2 1.4.15, you can assign different email and reply-to addresses to mail and newsgroup folders using the Edit Group facility. Your problem with the SMTP server may be due to a bug in 1.4.15 which causes the Reply-To header to show up blank. Try setting it in one or all of your mail folders and sending a new message.
