A quick look at the press release only shows these differences:
JB940 has the ability to display Kanji (Chinese Character) titles.

I would guess that the JB940 has a higher build quality, as the JB
series did in previous generations.
Any other differences don't seem worth shouting about (at least to
Sony in their press release).
