Probably because of bad luck. Seriously. The 702M was supposed to be a 
"fix" model that avoided UTOC problems. From what I have seen around the 
web and from retail/service places, it worked and UTOC errors are very 
rare on the "M". However, there is a very small chance that the error can 
still occur (now it's just like any other problem -- if you're unlucky, 
something can go wrong). You happen to be one of the "lucky" ones   :-(
