When I was thinking of getting a RIO, I was glad to learn that it used
Smart Media cards, the same used by my digital camera, all's great, untill
I learnt that the moment you put a smart media card into a RIO, it becomes
unusable by a digital camera as the RIO changes its formatting. One would
assume you could just reformat it with your camera, but apparantly that
doesn't work. And at a cost of about NZ%160 for a 16mb card, that doesn't
doesn't even store 30mins at decent quality, the cost of an MD is MUCH MUCH
nicer at NZ$10.
