Giro is:
1) a cycle course ala 'Tour de France' in Italy.
2) a money-transfer system using acount numbers. Ie, you can transfer
money from your own bankaccount to somebody elses bankaccount if you
know his giro-number. This is a save and reliable system that can be
found in most European countries.
