I don't know what happens to the SCMS bits when a CD is converted into .wav 
format, but I assume that with the right software this could be done.  But 
that wasn't really the point, anyway.  I was just getting a big laugh out of 
the fact that V2 answered the protest of copy-prohibited CDs by sending out, 
as a gift...a copy-prohibited CD.

P.S.  The above solution wouldn't really work for me anyway, as I use a 
laptop computer exclusively and the last time I asked around, a PCMCIA-type 
audio card with digital input and output was extremely expensive -- something 
like $1500-$2000 (don't remember the details as to manufacturer and model.)  
Does anyone know if this situation has changed?
