Hmm, didn't know Denon is owned by Philips.
But then again, being owned by Philips isn't the same as being owned and obliged
to use the internals of Philips. Ie, open a Telefunken, Aristona or Schneider
device and you'll find exactly the same circuit boards / components as used in
an equivalent Philips product.
