G'day, I just bought an MZ-R2 second hand, and went looking on the community page - unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a manual for it, although I downloaded the MZ-R3 manual thinking that most of it would be fairly similar.... One thing I want to do is make (or buy) a couple of mics for it to record solo piano; I had a look at the tidmarsh page on building a binaural mic set: it describes how to set up an external supply for the mics - is this necessary? The MZ-R2 has the words "mic - plug in power" near the mic socket, so I had assumed the MZ-R2 supplied enough power to run a small condenser mic. Is this wrong? BTW if anyone knows of where I could get a MZ-R2 manual, could you let me know, please?
