The sound quality is amazing, and the isolation is better than any
"noise-cancelling" phones out there.
They do take some getting use to, though. You have to get used to not
being able to hear anything around you, and get used to having them
physically in your ears. Also, because of the isolation, any scratching
or bumping of the wires is carried directly to your ears, so they aren't
the best phones for jogging, exercise, etc.
Finally, they sound much better with a headphone amp because they draw a
lot of power. My MZR50 is a bit weak for them, but my girlfriend's MS702
has twice the headphone jack power, and it is noticeably better at
driving them.
