There is an option on the 920, at least there was one one my 520, the
will automatically put in the 2 seconds you mentioned. I had it turned
on and it coused problems with the way I use the machine. So, I went
into the setup menu and turned it off. Now there is no gap at all
between selections unless you record 2 seconds of silence.
