MD: Does Sony MZ-R91/90 accept standard headphone jack?

Or does the remote require the proprietary Sony headphone connector?  Are
there many sources of info on the R90?  I'm trying to decide between a
Sharp MT831, Aiwa AF70 & Sony MZ-R90.
