MD: Digital out on soundcard/CDROM

Hi Everyone
I'm a newbie with MD, and I own a R55.
On my soundcard and my CDROM, I have a digital output (2 pins)
Perhaps it's a silly question, but I would like to know if there is a
way to convert the digital signal to optical and how!!
