I think both aren't very wise. I'm not sure about the power adapter, but I'm
sure that it has been mentioned more than once on the list that totally
draining a lilion battery will kill it. so don't try to see how far it goes.
Charge your unit as much as you can, even if you only play one MD between
charges.
