If, like me, you find even the Portapros too big for use outside, you might
be interested to know I picked up a pair of Aiwa in ear headphones. They're
completely different to the standard Sony ear buds. These babys really do
fit in your ear. They have a silicon rubber air filled pad that fits to
almost any shape of ear. They are VERY comfortable and they act as a kind of
ear plug as they fit so well that they block out external noise. No real
need for a base boost as the almost air tight fit seems quite capable of
pushing your eardrum just a little closer down the canal ;). although the
freq resp is quoted as 6Hz to 25k I'm no golden eared boy so I wouldn't want
to comment on quality. But the comfort and fit are a huge bonus to me.
