Strange you should mention the Koln Concert, as I have just used that very
recording to show somebody the benefit of MD over the Rio. To fit the whole
thing onto the Rio we had to encode at 80bps MP3s. Comparing this to the
MD... oh dear.... looks like the Rio goes back to the shop and gets swapped
for the MD recorder.... :o)
Even at 320bps you can hear the difference in MP3 much easier than you can
on MD - final audible proof that ATRAC is superior to MP3?
