Ok... ow about a slot-in design with some sort of mechanism to allow easy
access for cleaning 0 then you get the best of both worlds!

You could do, although I was thinking primarily of situations where you
don't realise the disc has run out for quite some time, and it would need to
write pretty quickly to catch up!

Oh that.... I've never used that once on the 821.... perhaps a connection to
the Internet for downloading track titles via CDDB would be a good idea...

As far as I know they all have manual recording level - on the Sony you
just hold record switch across for a few seconds and it reverys to
"ManualRec" mode. What *would* be good is if Sony didn't force you to pause
to adjust record levels.

But the system needed to interface with it isn't so easy. It added quite a
bit of size to the 930!

If I stop my MD, when I next press play it carries on from where I left
off....... unless you mean after swapping discs... it doesn't do it then,
but it might be handy if it did.

Need? Who said anything about need! There's no need for a docking station,
but it looks cool and the big buttons make it easier to use with a Hi-Fi.

I dtaw the line at the "Barney The Dinosaur MInidisc" - those Hello Kitty

That's portable?

Not unless it doubles as a remote for the MD and I can title discs on
it..... ;o)

Wow! So now we can connect it to a digital camera, run a printer from it (to
print song titles?) and link a monitor up to it for when you need a REALLY
big display, and even drive digital speakers from the thing! Does it come
with Windoze98 installed? ;o)

Hell, yeah! Mad is cool! Who'd want to be sane anyway?
