I've got a 3 month old Sony C-5970 radio/MD player in my old (1989) Nissan
Bluebird. It's easy to use, the sound is good (as far as I can tell as it's
a noisy old car with the original Blaupunkt speakers). Having MD in the car
is a joy, especially being able to skip tracks and I can treat the discs in
my usual rough manner knowing that they will survive.

The radio is sensitive on VHF and has RDS and generally performs well-this I
do know as I'm a radio engineer!

The only problem I have had with it is a reluctance to eject the MDs when I
hit the eject button. This doesn't always happen though and MAY be due to a
sticky flap.

It can control a CD player as well but it is only single-slot size.

Cheers,

Subject: MD: anyone have a car md player?

hello all, just seeing if anyone has or can suggest a good
car md player/md changer controller. ive got one of those
double slots, so i was thinking of putting either a md player
deck and a 3 cd changer or some kind of other configuration.
i was also curious to see if any of them can control two
changers, ie a cd and a md changer.
