That shouldn't be true, because Best Buy has just purchased and distributed
to all it's stores new DVD's that demonstrate Minidisc along with CD-R and
MP3. If they hadn't just started a new campain for Minidisc, I would say
they might drop it (just because of all the nay-sayers are getting to people
before we can), and there are still BB employees buying up Minidisc
equipement at my local BB. I don't think they'll drop it as soon as January,
but I'll ask Trey, he's the Home Audio Manager there. He should know.
