I purchased it from Minidisco.
recently found the 831 in a store in Chicago for 25$ cheaper
though. Bummer, as that place has a refund policy.
Not going to worry about it, the unit operates fine, but this
construction issue kind of bothers me. All of them should
look the same, eh?
