I don't have much info on those rumours about Best Buy abandoning MD, but I personally tend to doubt it. Anyway their website has a decent-sized section devoted to MD:(http://www.bestbuy.com/productinfo/features/sonyminidisc/index.asp) and I have sent them an email asking for their comments on the rumour. I will pass along any information I receive from them. Best Buy has been a great supporter of the MD format...I sincerely hope the rumours turn out to be false.
